For 13 years, Melissa Bobrow has tried cases in federal and state court throughout Southern California. Starting her career in Orange County with Dean Steward, she worked on several high-profile cases and handled death penalty work, as well as wrote appeals to the 9th Circuit.

Melissa has obtained not guilty verdicts, dismissals - both during and prior to trial, as well as dismissals at preliminary hearings for a variety of charges. Melissa also handles investigations and pre-charge litigation. She’s had success with the federal and state government in preventing charges from being brought against both individuals and corporations.

Currently on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Melissa serves on the White Collar Committee, the 4th Amendment Committee, and the Strategic Litigation Committee.

Melissa is also an active member of the Women in White Collar Criminal Defense Association, the Federal Bar Association, and her football pick 'em league, where she has yet to demonstrate the success she has seen in court.

Nicole's career has been diverse, with a strong background in Corporate America. She began her career in the publishing industry at Bookspan. Determined to change direction, she pursued an MBA in International Business from St. John's University and joined Canon USA.

At Canon, Nicole had a wide range of responsibilities, including overseeing promotions, advertising, and PR. Her hard work and exceptional contributions were recognized with awards such as the Canon Spirit Award for her role in developing the Generation Green marketing program, which encompassed all consumer products. She also received two Canon Americas President's Awards (CAPA) - one for her efforts in developing a nationwide ink cartridge recycling program with a cross-functional team, and the other for launching Canon U.S.A.'s social media presence in collaboration with a team.

Nicole's interest in the legal world was sparked during her time at Canon when she began working on compliance solutions for state recycling laws. This led her to pivot her career and pursue a role as a paralegal, where she currently works. In addition to her work as a paralegal, Nicole is also passionate about advocating for her children. Her extensive experience in Corporate America combined with her legal work provides her with a unique perspective and skill set to help our firms clients.
